
Mpongwe Area – Zambia: Manage and implement all aspects of the company’s conservation & security programs in the designated sections on the company’s different farms, with input from senior management. Ensure compliance, efficiency and effective use of available resources. Work closely with management, external consultants and other parties to ensure the effective functioning of the sections under management, ensuring the long-term growth and sustainability of the company. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and sustainable practice, maximising the available resources, to ensure the preservation and improvement of the company assets, in a manner which is profitable and sustainable.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Tertiary qualification in agriculture, ecology or similar.
- Additional certifications are advantageous.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Valid Passport with a minimum of 3 years before expiration.
- Up to date Police clearance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED
- Experience in conservation & law-enforcement, with a focus on wildlife monitoring and management, ecological management, anti-poaching and K9 operations.
- Ability to oversee and implement various programs, which promote improved efficiency and productivity of wildlife assets and law-enforcement personnel.
