Stellenbosch Area – Western Cape: An established nursery is seeking an experienced, hands-on Propagation Supervisor to oversee propagation operations and ensure consistent quality and production performance. This role combines active involvement in day-to-day propagation work with supervision, planning and quality control.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in horticulture.
- Relevant horticulture qualification.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Strong computer literacy and planning skills.
- Good irrigation knowledge.
- Practical, hands-on approach to work.
- Sustainability-focused mindset.
- Reside in Stellenbosch, Helderberg, Northern Suburbs area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Actively participate in propagation activities while supervising the team.
- Oversee daily propagation operations and workflows.
- Maintain and enforce quality standards.
- Plan and monitor production schedules.
- Manage and monitor propagation-related irrigation systems.
- Train, guide and support propagation staff.
- Apply efficient, sustainable propagation practices.
