
Northern Namibia (Kavango East & West, Zambezi Region) – Namibia: The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating field implementation, overseeing irrigation set-up, ensuring best agronomic practices during establishment, and managing the project through its critical early phase to ensure a strong foundation for long-term production.
This role is hands-on, field-based, and requires close collaboration with farmers, technicians, suppliers, and the company’s internal team.
This is a FIXED TERM contract position.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, Irrigation, or Project Management (or equivalent practical experience).
5-10 years’ experience in agricultural project implementation or farm development.
Demonstrated experience with:
o Plantation crops (banana experience highly advantageous).
o Irrigation systems (design coordination, installation, or management).
Strong field implementation and coordination skills. Experience working with smallholder or emerging commercial farmers is an advantage.
Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively in northern Namibia.
