
Luanshya Area – Zambia: The Maintenance Manager will oversee a comprehensive range of operational responsibilities and departments for a premier producer, supplier, and distributor of table eggs within the region, known for their esteemed brand among retail clients and consumers.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Proven hands on administrative, managerial, construction, and mechanical expertise.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to install and diagnose issues.
- Leadership capabilities to manage a maintenance workforce of 25 employees (Electriciains, Fitters, Welders, Builders, etc) with a focus on achieving Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience in project management, building, plumbing, and electrical work.
- Ability to foster discipline and accountability, aiming to cultivate a productive team dedicated to quality workmanship.
-Ability to plain for spares and stock items in advance.
- Commitment to cost control while ensuring effective and efficient operations.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a comparable Maintenance Management role.
- Excellent references, commendable personal habits, a high level of accountability, and outstanding initiative are essential.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Construction and Maintenance of Poultry Houses.
- Maintenance of Egg Packaging Station Equipment.
- Maintenance of all Feed Mill Equipment in conjunction with the workshop.
- Upkeep and Maintenance on small Abattoir.
- Upkeep of Generators and Farm Poutry Machinery.
- Oversight of General Farm Building Projects and Construction Initiatives.
