Piketberg area, Western Cape – South Africa: The Maintenance Coordinator will report to the packhouse manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant N3 Fitter or electrician, NQF4 Fitter or electrician qualification.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Willing to work irregular/night shift and long hours (as required in the packing industry).
- Oversee the storage and handling of table grapes and citrus.
- Experience in cold room maintenance will be an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Supervise maintenance staff in packhouse.
- Preventative maintenance on all machines and equipment.
- Report and repair any breakdowns.
- Perform daily inspections.
- General building maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
