Our client is looking for a Forestry & Timber Mill Management Couple to join the team in Central Mozambique – Mozambique
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous
- Working knowledge of forestry operations & FSC certification of indigenous forest operations
- Extensive technical knowledge for maintenance of forestry equipment (saws, tractors, milling, drying, wood turning etc equipment
- Knowledge of processes related to selecting, marking, and calculating timber extraction, cubic calculations and compliance with forestry laws related to cutting & extraction of indigenous forests
- Knowledge of legal & legislative processes related to obtaining felling licenses, export licenses for timber sawn product as well as finished goods products
- Full accountability for finance & planning
- Ability to speak some basic Portuguese
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport
