FARM MANAGER – FM2264

Bergville Area – KwaZulu Natal: An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Farm Manager to establish and oversee a new Dorper sheep flock of 1,000 in the Bergville area. This role requires a candidate with strong management, organisational, and practical farming skills, who can set up and run the operation from the ground up.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

· Agricultural Degree / Diploma advantageous

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in agricultural field

· Previous experience with sheep farming

· Maintenance orientated

· Ability to motivate and work with staff

· Strong communication skills

· Computer literate

· Valid driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

· Manage all administrative & practical areas of a Sheep farm inc but not limited to

· To set up all structures, facilities & resources required for the effecting running of a flock of 1000 Dorper Sheep

· Asist in procurement of sheep, manage budgets & labour. All practically & administratively

· Reporting including budgets & expenditure on weekly & monthly basis
