The role requires expert planning, execution and monitoring of core farming processes such as planting, harvesting, pest control, fertilization and maintenance.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Tertiary qualification in agriculture would be advantageous
· At least 3 years’ experience in the cultivation of wheat and general animal husbandry (sheep and cattle)
· Knowledge of modern production practices
· Specific experience in driving and operating machinery with GPS guidance systems
· Good leadership and communication skills

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Production
· Plant wheat, apply fertilizer, weed, pest, and plague control, harvest, monitoring, all manipulations
· Purchase and management of pest control agents and fertilizers
· Maintenance of equipment and farm infrastructure in general
Personnel and administration
· Labour planning, management and recordkeeping\
Financial
· Cost control by focusing on productivity
