Stellenbosch area, Western Cape Province – South Africa: This regenerative farm seeks to employ a self-motivated farm manager. The successful candidate will report directly to the owner.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree advantageous.
- Must have knowledge and passion for regenerative farming, organic farming experience helpful.
- Previous working experience with Avocado, Olives, Almonds, vineyards and livestock.
- Must be a good communicator, team member, a reliable person with good leadership skills.
- Must have ownership mentality.
- Ability to take initiative within the vision of the farm.
- Mechanically orientated.
- Ability to motivate and work with staff.
- Valid driver’s license.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Staff management.
- Irrigation management and scheduling.
- Manage Avocado, Olive, and almond orchards.
- Soil and nutrient management, pest control.
- Manage sales and marketing of all products.
- Maintenance of the cabins and assist with the cabins where needed.
- Pasture and cattle management.
- Manage alien species.
- Maintain a neat and natural farm that runs well.
