Stellenbosch area – Western Cape: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the olive farm in all aspects.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Agricultural Qualification (preferably).
- Min of 5 years previous experience in similar role.
- Experience with and understanding of Olive growing preferable.
- Computer Literacy.
- Knowledge in Global GAP HACCP ISO.
- Must be trustworthy, hands-on and a team player who enjoys working with high standards of excellence.
- Eager to learn.
- Ability to drive the tractor and operate various implements (spray pump, ripper etc.).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with and motivate a team.
- Valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Day-to-day leadership of the diverse team.
- Orchard maintenance and management of olive trees (spraying, feeding, pruning, irrigation and harvesting).
- Planning and execution of general cleaning & maintenance of the overall property grounds with the team.
