Maun Area – Botswana: An exciting opportunity is available for a hands-on Farm Manager on this 34 000-ha mixed farming operation. This role requires a candidate with ownership mentality, strong management, organisational, and practical farming skills.
Due to the accommodation on the farm this position would be best suited to a couple with no kids or a single person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in agricultural field.
- Previous experience with:
o cropping (barley, fruit & vegetables).
o livestock (cattle, sheep, game & horses).
- Previous feedlot experience.
- Computer literate.
- Maintenance orientated.
- Ability to motivate and work with staff.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid code 14 driver’s license.
- Valid passport.
