MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 2-3 years Dairy farming experience.
- Pasture management knowledge.
- Computer literacy essential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills and staff management skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to take initiative, while still being willing to take guidance and advice.
- Willingness to work longer hours when necessary.
- Ability to speak Xhosa advantageous.
- Hardworking, honest and loyal.
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable transport essential.
RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOOT LIMITED TO
- Key role in supporting the Senior Manager in all daily farm activities.
- Accurate data entry into Afikim and 4th Quadrant.
- Daily dairy operations.
- Daily duties every second weekend.
- Helping with seasonal tasks such as calving, planting, and more.
- Managing staff and allocating their daily work.
- General farm work, plus machinery and irrigation maintenance.
