Our client is looking for a Dairy Farm Assistant to join the team. The farm is situated close to a popular local town.
This is a 2-year fixed term contract position with the potential of becoming permanent.
This position would be best suited to a single person due to accommodation available on the farm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid passport or work permit.
-Agricultural Diploma/Degree highly advantageous.
- Min of 1year previous dairy / livestock experience.
- Previous experience with milking of cows.
- Must have a passion for dairy cows.
- Must have a valid drivers license.
- Computer literate.
- Strong written and verbal communication in English.
- Great stockman.
- Mechanically orientated.
- Experience with tractors essential.
- EU passport advantageous, but not essential.
