Addo Area – Eastern Cape: The Lodge is the main point of contact for guests, ensuring a positive and seamless experience from arrival to departure. The incumbent will manage daily operations, coordinate with various departments, and uphold the lodge's high service standards.
Essentially, they are the face of the lodge, responsible for guest satisfaction and overall lodge management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Tertiary qualification in hospitality/tourism/lodge management
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· Passionate about the hospitality industry and people
· Excellent leadership skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Computer literate
· Valid driver’s license

Guest Relations:
· Welcoming guests, handling check-in and check-out, addressing inquiries and requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their stay.
Operational Management:
· Assisting with the day-to-day running of the lodge, including coordinating activities, managing staff (where applicable), and maintaining lodge standards.
Communication and Coordination:
· Acting as a liaison between different departments (housekeeping, kitchen, guides), ensuring smooth communication and efficient service delivery.
Administrative Tasks:
· Handling basic billing, reservations, and other administrative duties as needed.
Maintaining Standards:
· Upholding the lodge's service standards and brand reputation.
Hosting and Hosting Activities:
· Coordinating and managing activities like sundowners, surprise stops, and outdoor events.
Support and Supervision:
· Assisting in staff training and acting as a stand-in for management

Account Manager
Developing and Implementing Marketing Strategies:
· This involves creating and executing marketing plans, both short-term and long-term, to achieve the reserve's objectives. This could include digital marketing campaigns, social media strategies, email marketing, and content creation.
Brand Management:
· Maintaining and enhancing the game reserve's brand identity and reputation across all platforms.
Digital Marketing:
· Managing the reserve's online presence, including website content, social media, online advertising, and search engine optimization.
Public Relations:
· Building relationships with media outlets, travel writers, and other influencers to secure positive coverage and promote the reserve.
Relationship Management:
· Developing and maintaining relationships with tour operators, travel agents, and other partners to drive bookings and sales.
