Service Manager

Our client is looking for a Service Manager to join the team in Malelane Area – Mpumalanga.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Technical Degree/ Post Graduate Diploma, Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Trade Certificate is essential)
Experience in a similar role: up to 5 years
Knowledge of the transport, logistics and agriculture industry both operationally and technically Ability to analyse and evaluate market trends
Strong financial acumen
Good relationship building skills
Innovative and lateral thinking
Experience of Preventative Maintenance and planning systems
Hands on management style
Data driven decision making skills
Independent
Strong negotiation skills
Team player and ability to work in a dynamic team environment
Excellent reporting and presentation skills
Ability to research and study industry and related topics (environmental scanning)
Working knowledge of maintaining a large fleet comprising of trucks, trailers, yellow equipment and light vehicle in excess of 100 assets
Safety management experience (preferably NOSA)
World class operational experience (5S, 6 sigma etc.)
