Our client is looking for an Export Processing Zone (EPZ) Manager to join our team in Nyahururu Area – Kenya.
The EPZ Manager is fully responsible for the entire EPZ Area (covering the Veg and Roses Packhouses) and to ensure that Industry and Company standards are adhered to, with any corrective action implemented. This includes overseeing site logistical operations, including equipment, machinery and fabric maintenance.
The EPZ Manager will also oversee the expansion of new facilities and project management.
Due to the remote location of the farm this position would be best suited to a single person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Relevant tertiary qualification preferably in Logistics
A minimum of 5 years of experience within the fruit export and/or import industry.
Excellent computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Self-motivated, result-driven, exceptional attention to detail, and able to take initiative.
The successful candidate should be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment, be flexible and adapt to the situation and be able to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
