Polokwane Area – Limpopo: An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Vegetable Seedling Marketer to join an established, fast-paced agricultural business specialising in the production of fruit, vegetables, flowers, and tobacco.
This role is perfect for someone with strong industry knowledge, a passion for seedling production, and a proven track record in sales and client relationship management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Experience in the agricultural or horticultural sector is a plus.
· Basic knowledge of plant care, seasonality, and agricultural practices
· Understanding of different vegetable varieties and their growth characteristics
· Passionate about the outdoors and/or agriculture
· Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
· Customer relationship management (CRM).
· Able to speak confidently with farmers, and suppliers.
· Language proficiency in English and/or Afrikaans (depending on your market).
· Can develop marketing strategies to drive sales (e.g., promotions, campaigns).
· Digital marketing: social media, website content, email marketing, etc. (bonus)
· Creative with problem-solving abilities.
· Valid driver’s license – may need to travel to clients or markets.
· Ability to work in rural areas.
