Mkushi area, Central Province – Zambia: To drive the marketing and sales of crop protection and related products to commercial farming clients, while providing high-quality product and agronomy support. The role is responsible for building trusted key-account relationships, growing the customer base, supporting commercial farmers technically, and contributing to achievement of sales targets across the Mkushi/ Mpongwe and Serenje.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

- Degree / 3-year Diploma in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture or a related field.

- 5 years in agronomy (3 years crop protection chemicals).

- Must be willing to travel.

- Valid driver’s licence.

- Valid passport.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

Sales Growth & Customer Development

- Drive product sales and provide technical backup to commercial farmers with the goal of achieving sales targets.

- Identify, engage and onboard new customers within the allocated territory.

- Develop existing accounts through regular customer contact, responsive service and identification of additional commercial opportunities.

Key Account & Relationship Management

- Establish, maintain and strengthen key client relationships with commercial farming customers.

- Maintain a visible and credible presence within the commercial farming community.

- Attend and, where appropriate, help organize community training days, industry events and sponsored corporate days.

Technical & Agronomy Support

- Provide product and agronomy support to commercial clients, including practical technical guidance linked to crop protection and related products.

- Arrange and coordinate technical and marketing activities such as field days, farmer meetings, product/trial demonstrations, trial sites and farmer training.

- Maintain current industry and technical awareness through networking, professional development and training.

Order Fulfilment, Delivery & Account Control

- Coordinate product deliveries and help manage delivery routes and delivery frequency to support reliable customer service.

- Manage and control the assigned customer credit and debt portfolio within the region, in line with company requirements and agreed account terms.

- Carry out other reasonable duties as assigned in support of the commercial farming business.
