200KM from Nairobi - Kenya: A large commercial farm is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee open-field vegetable production. The role requires a hands-on, technically strong manager with a proven background in large-scale field cropping.
Minimum Requirements
- Solid experience in field-grown vegetables.
- Strong knowledge of crop planning, irrigation, fertigation, and pest/disease control.
- Experience managing large labour teams.
- Ability to work independently on a remote farm.
- Agricultural qualification advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full production cycle from land prep to harvest.
- Develop planting schedules and ensure high-quality output.
- Implement crop protection and nutrition programs.
- Lead and supervise field teams.
- Maintain accurate production and input records.
