
Limpopo area – Limpopo: A leading and established operation within the fresh produce and value-added processing sector is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a high-performance processing facility. This is a senior role suited to a results-driven, commercially minded professional with strong experience in production, supply chain, quality control, and team leadership within a food processing or FMCG environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant qualification in Operations, Food Science, Agriculture, Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in food processing / manufacturing / FMCG.
- Strong experience in:
- Production planning & operations.
- Supply chain and procurement.
- Quality control systems.
- Financial and cost management.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams in a production environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making ability.
KEY FOCUS AREAS
- Full responsibility for production and processing operations.
- Overseeing procurement, inventory, and supply chain efficiency.
- Driving quality assurance and food safety standards (HACCP, GMP, ISO).
- Managing financial performance, budgets, and cost control.
- Leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental compliance.
