Burgersfort Area – Limpopo: Seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and carry out repairs to ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment in an industrial environment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A qualification in the electrical or mechanical field will be advantageous.
- Packhouse experience will be an advantage.
- A Strong Mechanical and Electrical background.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
- Ability to follow a maintenance schedule.
- Physical and manual dexterity and agility.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Carry out scheduled maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on pneumatic and conveyor systems.
- Fabricate, assemble, and retrofit mechanical/electrical systems to improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and parts inventories.
- Install, dismantle, and align machinery according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine inspections and testing to prevent failures and ensure reliable operation.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship.
