Mkushi area, Central province – Zambia: This mix farming operation seeks to add a member to his team with the necessary hands-on skills and experience below.
Please note that, due to the remote location of the farm and the lifestyle associated with the role, this position is best suited to candidates for whom the location and living arrangements are a good fit.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- A mechanical/maintenance qualification advantageous.
- A minimum of 3 years of applicable experience on the maintenance and repair of agricultural machinery and equipment.
- Extensive knowledge of the repair and maintenance of farm equipment, irrigation pumps and irrigation systems.
- Minimum 2 years management experience in agriculture.
- Previous crop farming experience.
- Ability to lead and work with a team.
- Computer literate.
- Ability to lead and work with a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid passport.
