Due to the accommodation and remote area of the farm this position would suit a single person.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in agriculture / forestry or related field
· 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture or field –based operations
· Experience in a supervisory role
· Independent, proactive, eager to learn and results oriented
· Strong social / interpersonal skills
· Exposed to meeting and/or working with people from different cultures and background (Ideally has travelled outside home region / overseas and especially Asia
· Willing to learn different languages
· Comfortable to live / work in remote area
KEY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
· Oversee daily field operations activities: planning, harvesting, crop care & road maintenance. (PDCA)
· Coordinate efficient transportation of harvested fruit from estate to mills
· Analyse field productivity data to identify areas for performance improvement (for daily activities and process improvement initiatives).
· Mentoring and upskilling of field workers.
