Burgersfort area – Limpopo: Our client is seeking a detail-orientated and highly organized Accountant to ensure accurate financial record-keeping compliance with
statutory regulations, and the provision of timely financial insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Pastel accounting experience.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience.
- Packhouse experience will be an advantage.
- Studying for a finance or Accountant degree or diploma will be advantageous.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Capture and process supplier invoices accurately in the accounting system.
- Match purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices.
- Reconcile supplier statements with creditor ledger balances.
- Prepare payment batches and ensure timely supplier payments.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve queries and discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Assist with month-end procedures, reconciliations, and reporting.
- Capture and reconcile bank transactions, petty cash, and debit card expenses.
- Maintain finance and compliance documentation and filing.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Perform creditor age analysis, cash book reconciliation, and reporting on Pastel.
