Solwezi area – Zambia: The successful candidate will work directly under the Managing Director. This is a senior and all-encompassing vacancy, and the successful candidate will be responsible for all farm aspects.
Due to the remote location of the farm the client prefers a married couple.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Diploma in Agriculture / Agribusiness essential.
- Previous farming experience on a commercial farm preferred.
- Experience with:
o Cropping (wheat & soyabeans).
o Cattle.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with and motivate a team.
- Somebody who can take ownership and works independently and proactively.
- Being maintenance/mechanically orientated.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Valid passport.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee all labour related tasks.
- All aspects relating to:
o Cropping & livestock.
o Machinery management.
o Bush clearing.
o Irrigation & pivot management.
o buildings.
