Ohrigstad area – Limpopo: Our client seeks the services of a dynamic and energetic Farm Maintenance manager with required skills to join their team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Basic knowledge of game farming and wildlife management.
- Basic mechanical and maintenance skills.
- Ability to repair fences, pumps, and general farm equipment.
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in various conditions.
- Responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently.
- Valid driver’s license – Code 14 is an advantage.
- Previous farm experience will be an advantage.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Supervise and assist with daily operations on the game farm.
- Monitor and manage wildlife, including feeding, water points, and basic game management.
- Maintain fences, roads, water systems, and general farm infrastructure.
- Perform basic mechanical maintenance and repairs on farm equipment and vehicles.
- Ensure basic maintenance and upkeep is done at the lodges.
- Oversee staff and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Assist with hunting operations when required.
- Ensure farm equipment, tools, and facilities are kept in good condition.
- Maintain a high standard of safety and care on the farm.
