MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma / Degree.
- Minimum 5 years dairy experience.
- Pasture management experience.
- Computer literate.
- Must be good with labour management.
- Valid drivers.
- Valid passport.
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Overseeing milk parlour.
- Overseeing loading of milk truck.
- Supervising calf rearing (vaccination schedule, deworm schedule, weaning, tagging, dehorning, birth records, feed and milk).
- Pasture management.
- Overseeing feed mixing for whole herd.
- Vaccination and deworming management of herd.
- Daily record keeping (milk records, birth records, breeding records).
- AI.
- Management of Steam up and Dry off cows.
- Management and overseeing of daily herd health.
