Krugersdorp Area – Gauteng: This is a stud cattle (Boran, Beefmaster & Ankole) farm and they seek to appoint a highly competent Cattle Manager to assume overall responsibility for the management of the Stud farm and staff.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Matric.
- Relevant degrees/diplomas in Agriculture.
- Knowledge & experience of Logix system.
- Knowledge of stud lines (Boran, Beefmaster & Ankole).
- Experience with:
o Pairings of stud bloodlines.
o Tagging & registration of calves.
o Vaccinations.
o Identify illnesses.
o Experience with calving issues.
o Dehorning.
- Knowledge of veldt & feeding.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Must be willing to work overtime & weekends, public holidays etc.
