Vaalwater area – Limpopo: Exciting vacancy awaits the successful candidate.
Due to the location of the farm this position will suit candidates with no kids.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Agricultural Diploma/Degree.
- Remote Pilots Licence.
- Minimum 3 years of farming experience.
- Previous experience with:
o Drone crop spraying essential.
o Cropping – maize, soya & sugar beans.
o Livestock – cattle.
- Computer literate.
- Somebody who can take ownership, come up with new ideas, and works independently and proactively.
- Being mechanically & maintenance orientated.
- Ability to work with and motivate staff essential.
- Valid driver’s license.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- See that planting equipment and Poison Spray remain in good condition.
- Supervise planting process and spraying.
- Do the harvesting in person at harvest time with JD Harvester.
- Gradually get involved in cattle farming.
- Any other duty that may come into question.
