East Kalimantan area – Indonesia: The successful incumbent will be assigned to work in the Palm Oil Estates Operations Department.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture / forestry or related field.
- 3-5 years’ experience in agriculture or field – based operations.
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Independent, proactive, eager to learn and results oriented.
- Strong social / interpersonal skills.
- Exposed to meeting and/or working with people from different cultures and background (Ideally has travelled outside home region / overseas and especially Asia).
- Willing to learn different languages.
- Comfortable to live / work in remote area.
- Hobbies are outdoors / sport related.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
- Oversee daily field operations activities: planting, harvesting, crop care & road maintenance. (PDCA)
- Coordinate efficient transportation of harvested fruit from estate to mills.
- Analyse field productivity data to identify areas for performance improvement (for daily activities and process improvement initiatives).
- Mentoring and upskilling of field workers and coworkers.
