We don’t offer in-service training or practical year training. Should any of our clients request this we would then advertise this specifically but as a rule, no we don’t.

Yes, you do need to submit an application for each position until you are shortlisted. Once you have completed a job application form and gone through our screening process however; you do not have to go through the process again.

Can you help me create a professional CV?

Yes, we can, but we charge a fee. You can fill out this form to get started with the process.

Does Farm Manager SA assist with temporary or seasonal job placements?

Usually not, but if our client requests it, we will advertise it.

Yes, we recruit internationally – all positions are advertised on our website www.FarmManagerSA.co.za.

Do you have positions available outside of agriculture?

All positions are agri-related. However; if a client needs a candidate with e.g. an engineering qualification, we would try to fill the position.

It depends on what the client needs.

We do not assist with this (generally the client's HR Manager will assist with that if you are placed successfully.

What is your process for screening and shortlisting candidates?

The candidates we present to you have to complete a job application form stating that all the information they give us is truthful and honest. Upon receipt of this job application form, we have a screen interview with them, and we do a write up on the candidate. We then do the references and send all information to you, as our client.

Upon receipt of the completed form, a screen interview with the candidate follows. Next a thorough reference check and write-up about the candidate is done before all the information is sent to our client.

Do you conduct background checks and reference verifications?

Upon request of our client we do.

Can you provide psychometric assessments or skills testing

We do not conduct psychometric assessments, but we can recommend specialised professionals or companies and facilitate the process for our clients.

How long does it typically take to fill a vacancy?

Not more than two weeks

Regrettably, we can’t, but we will assist where we can.
